| there's this relly beautiful girl at my college and when i see her i can tell that i would love her personality as much if i were to get to know her.
we've made eye contact a few times but i can't tell if she thinks i'm a twit or not, and i really want to go up to her and talk to her...
...which is the problem - every time i try to talk to a really beautiful girl, even if i know her, i go bright red and trip over my words and look like a prick i am that shy. how can i strike up a conversation and find out whether she is seeing anyone or not and if she wants to go for coffee sometime; without looking like a prick?

Hey shy guy:
Start smiling and saying "hi" to her on campus. Don't expect anything in return. If she says "hi" back, you can start making small chats or just say "how are you doing". Then when you get the courage, introduce yourself and ask for her name. You don't have to talk much or ask her out the first time you talk. Talk a little bit at a time until you can ask her for a coffee or something. It'll take off from there.
