Dear Hotgirl,
i stumbled across this site and found your advice pretty useful. i could
use some advice myself on a couple things. i'm 22 and a senior, haven't
dated much (at all in a long while), average/good looking (nothing that
would blind people or crack glass at least), and most of my mates are now
attached so i'm a third wheel a lot of the time. aight, my situation: i go
out to bars and clubs a lot where many single ladies hang out, but i'm
usually too uptight, shy, "puss" to talk to them. i go to the clubs and
dance but that usually sucks cause you can't hear each other and most of
the time they are Only looking to dance a little anyway. so i guess my
first question is where to pick up girls when they are willing to be
picked up. maybe a girl who is interested in a relationship instead of a
hookup as well. secondly, i have a friend who i reguard as a
"cockblocker". good pal, but two consecutive times he has stepped on my
feet, and each time we've paid the cab fair back to an empty house.
(he's a pretty close friend so ditchen him prolly isn't an option) so,
how do i meet a girl in a bar, club, school, etc.. and how do i get this
damn monkey off my back. (i'm usually laid back but being single still
sucks)

Girls who are really looking for something beyond a random hookup aren't going to be looking for it while they're dancing on a nightclub table or doing bodyshots off the bartender. Your best bet is to get involved on campus and/or in your community; find activities that YOU'RE genuinely interested in and you're bound to meet women there, plus starting up a conversation will be a snap because you'll have something to discuss with them out on the table already, and you'll already know that you've got common interests and passions.
Dump the cockblocker, at least when you're heading out on the town. He'll get the message.
