hiya hotgirl,
I am a secondary school student and ive got a problem. ive liked this girl for months now, and she knew i did for the first two of those months. its about 7 weeks since then and she thinks im over her. truth is, im not. shes got loads of friends, who i know and talk to, but not much. shes single and has been for a while. i asked her out a while ago, but she refused. i really like her and just want something to happen. also, shes not the easiest
person to talk to. please help me!

Dear Lost in Love Dude,
Is she not easy to talk to because you yourself feel intimidated by her (coz you desperately want to date her), or because she's always travelling in a pack of close friends and has a snotty ice-queen reputation? If it's the latter... then why do you want to date her? Think about it.
Either way, props to you for getting up the guts to ask her out, Romeo. I'll bet that somewhere, deep down, she's really flattered. But rushing up to someone you barely know and saying, "Will you go out with me, please please please??" would make even the most eager-to-date person run the other way.
Honestly, your best bet is to spend some time excelling in everything that YOU do well... get passionate about the things you care about and that make you unique, be it one of your classes, clubs, sports, music, anything. If she's smart, she'll take notice and see that there's so much more to you than she realized. If she doesn't notice, it's her loss.
