Dear HotGirl,
I have a question-I hope you can help me. Many people have made comments on
my looks, but I have never dated much because I am a very shy person when it
comes to dating. I can count the dates on one hand. I've wanted to ask
girls out in the past, but never have really. Well, I am 24 now and have
been out of college for two years. I still keep my eyes open, but usually
nothing catches them...until a month ago. I was visiting my sister on her
campus and I walked by this girl. I thought she was so pretty. She looked
me right in the eye and said "hi" to me as we passed each other. A week
later I see her in the student union-she kept staring at me. A week later,
I see her walking my way-she stops me and introduces herself. We talked for
an hour. The next day I see her again-we talk for another hour. The next
day she leaves for Christmas break. I have not seen her in a month now.
She just got back tonight. I really want to ask her out, but I'm afraid
about the age difference. I'm 24 and she's 18. Now, I not real concerned
about age, but as a woman yourself-what do you think. Should I go for it
anyway? I know this was long, but if you can offer any advice-it would mean a lot.
Thank you so much!

Dear Me,
If the girl seems interested, I'd say go for it! After all, she is a consenting adult! Just make sure she KNOWS that you are 24.
Six years really isn't that much of a difference anyway.
There's no harm in taking a shot, just end it if it gets weird for either of
you.
